V-Glide to Mcor Conversion
I have a resistor style CC and was wanting to convert it to a solid state controller set up, and was wonder what would be needed to make this happen. I know that i will need a controller and a mcor but i was wonder how the mcor could be installed on the cart and if there is a kit that would allow it to be connected to the throttle, since my cart was not designed for it?? Or any other option to make this happen.

Re: V-Glide to Mcor Conversion
It would be easier to put a potentiometer in than an MCOR.

Re: V-Glide to Mcor Conversion
Like SCOTTYB said get yourself a potentiometer unit ( PB5 or PB6 ) and if you have a V glide unit now ( you need to give year and model of Club Car you have to make giving info easier) you will be able to adapt your linkage from V glide to hook up to PB units.
Read all the posts and pick what you want to use. Be sure and update all your cables to at least 4 guage welding cable with proper ends crimped and soldered with shrink tubing to cover bare parts of cables. |

Re: V-Glide to Mcor Conversion
Thanks for the info guys. I will now start looking for parts!! I have the resistors that go in the v-glide to make it a pot, but from what i hear it is not a smooth acceleration, so if anyone wants them let me know and i will let them go for cheap.

Re: V-Glide to Mcor Conversion

Re: V-Glide to Mcor Conversion
It is easier to find good parts for 0-5k than 5k-0 systems.

Re: V-Glide to Mcor Conversion
would you recommend me buying the "pb-6" off of ebay made by fourthgen or go with the curtis product?? i am concerned about quality and i am very sceptical about buying anything off of ebay?? The one on ebay is half the price of the curtis version that is why i am concerned. Or does anyone on here have on for sale???
