So Cheapjeep2 and I have been through multiple test procedures and we believe the controller is dead, but we are looking for a little sanity check.

All test procedures were done via an official club car manual.
First we went through the steps to reset the OBC. The solenoid clicks and appears to be working fine, however, we did by pass it completely and we still could not get the cart to go.

We confimed the forward/reverse switch was good, we confirmed the multistep potentiometer is good by our own tests and taking it to the dealer who also confirmed it is good.

We've tested all cables and ensure we have no break in any of the wires, everything checks out. We've tested continuity on all micro switches, all check out.

We then tested the controller by having the key on, F/R switch in Forward. Voltmeter negative on the M- lead of the controller, and voltmeter positive on the B+ lead on the controller. With the pedal in the off position, we get no voltage as expected. However, when we depress the pedal, the solenoid clicks as it should and the voltmeter still reads zero. (we have confired the controller is getting 48v on the red 18ga terminal #1 wire, so it's getting power).

So based on the results of this test and our assumptions, it would appear the controller is dead. It is a 400amp Curtis controller. We are looking for a little sanity check before I shell out big bucks for a new controller. TIA.

Sounds like you found the problem.

So we are now at a loss. Ferris had the controller serviced and restored, put it back in the cart and nothing. Same condition, we're about to toss in the towel and take it to the shop.
