I have a '96, charger worked when I got the cart home. I wired up my light kit and removed the factory low battery light from the dash to install a led state-of-charge meter in it's place. Now the charger won't do anything when plugged in. Any ideas? Would removing the low charge light have anything to do with it?

Yes you need that light. It is part of the obc circuit.

So I hooked the low charge signal light back up and still no-go on the charger. When should the charger kick on? The state-of-charge meter is showing about 50% charge. Would disconnecting the computer to reset it help any?

There is a little process to reset the obc... you have to spin around on one foot while whistling Dixie

I forgot to tell him about standing on one foot spinning counter clockwise, while wistling dixie, and have a cat sitting on head.

Fixed it this morning. After looking over the schematic I was searching under the seat for the sense lead fuse and came across a dangling red wire with a eye terminal on it. I must have removed it along with the main lead when I hooked up the light kit and it fell behind the battery so I didn't re-connect it. Works great now. Thanks guys.
