Well, I took the cart back to the man I bought it from, and he still has it.
He has had it for several weeks now and tells me the pot is on back-order.
He is trying to get it through a dealer for about half price, but I am about to the point of just going ahead and paying the price and ordering it myself. I just want to make sure I get the right one though. It is a 96 48 volt carry all, club car.
I know they have one listed that says it is an update for the original one if I understand it correctly. I would hate to order the wrong one.Any suggestions?
I really would like to have the golf cart fixed so I can use it.

I believe you have a black speed control, which takes the 5k-0 pot. That's a rare bird. 0-5k is common. Silver controller takes the 0-5K.

Yes, I think '96 was actually the only year CC used these pots...
