Default Golf cart roof repair

I have a 2003 Club Car that my son cracked the roof on by hanging on the corner. Is there any way to repair the roof or does it just have to be replaced.

I sure don't want to have to buy a new one.

Thanks in advance.

I have never seen anyone trying to repair the plastic on the roof. Is the roof becoming brittle or soft? If you need to replace the top you can check around your local cart shops or maybe someone on here will have a top that they took off a cart to put a custom top on and you can get one reasonable that way. I recently did a custom top on my cart (see the picture in the avatar) and the top didn't break, but the supports are shot.

If you don't want to buy new, you may very well find a used roof that will work for your cart. There's lots of places to look:

Start in this forum section for Golf Cart Parts.

Search the local Craigslists for 'golf'.

Search E-bay for 'golf cart parts'.

Find local golf cart dealers and inquire about used roofs.

Find local custom golf cart builders and inquire about used roofs.

Find local golf courses and inquire about used roofs.

Your cart is common enough that finding a used roof to fit shouldn't be too hard if you search around.... Hope this helped

TX
You can repair the current roof you have if you like .The first thing to do is go to an auto body supply shop and ask them for a product that will repair plastic or fiberglass, depending on wether the roof is plastic or fiberglass .there are plenty of two part epoxy glues out there these days to fix either of the two .I know that 3m and Fusor make some really good products for plastic bumpers and such but the downside of those is you have to buy the stupid gun for them .
I know they have some smaller kits though that do not require the gun, when you are looking at the kit make sure you look to see if it is sandable and paintable if that is you're plan .Also prep work is key for the glue to hold so be sure to read the label on that portion .

I would seize and try to find a long top to cover rear seat. I know you don't want to spend in new top but a longer top is sometimes better.
Hell, only problem they are expensive

80 inch top is about $350 around here. All are new.

To me the long tops look kinda funky. If I did a lot of booze cruisin' with friends i might consider it. But, 90% of my use is on the ranch hunting and the seat is folded down anyways. Even if i have to replace it, I get a std. top.
