Sunday Stereo Install (pics)

My brother and I installed a system on my 04 CC on Sunday. I did the sheet metal work while he wired the cart. Start to finish was about 4 hours. I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out, and it sounds great.

Whataya think?

Is that 'faux' diamond plate? Where did you get it?

It's real diamond plate. My local hardware store sells it in 24x24 inch sheets. I made cardboard templates of the opening. Then made my measurements and cut the aluminum with a jig saw. I pre-drilled, then used #10 self tapping stainless screws to attach it, after I cut my holes for the components.

What kind of speakers are those? are they waterproof and how do they sound?
