Default Motor controller combo??

I am in the process of converting my cart to a controller setup and was wondering what would be the best motor and controller setup for me.

My cart is a 98 36v cc converted to 48v with 8" lift and 22' tires, this cart will be used mostly around the neighborhood on flat ground, but will be used on hilly terrain during hunting season and hopefully it will be hauling a deer this season!! I was looking at PQ 36v motor and a logisystems 700 amp controller?? Not really concerned with speed but 20mph+ would good and the stock 36v motor seemed to be good on torque, but a little more would be nice. Is 700a controller overkill for a 48v setup? Thanks for the help.

At one time someone had posted a chart of motor and HP ratings with different Amp controllers. Some of the motors actually dropped off when going from 500A to 700A, I dont know why. But your best bet would be to call the motor rebuilder and discuss your plans and they would tell you what amp controller would suit you best for the motor you choose.
