Club Car 80s model DS problem
I have a chance to get a 80s model Club Car DS 36V from a friend. Its a gorgeous cart. The only problem is it wont go very far in forward before it dies. You can put it in reverse and it runs great. It will run maybe 100 feet in forward before it dies. But runs great in reverse. Any ideas where to start trouble shooting??

Look at the F&R switch & cable ends .... Every thing else is the same in F or R Can you post serial #? And battery pack voltage?

Re: Club Car 80s model DS problem
Welcome to the forum
If I am correct, this vintage cart runs on 36V forward and half-speed, or 18V reverse. My guess is that the battery pack voltage may be low. Check this first. There is a 'sticky' about proper battery voltages (state of charge readings) at the beginning of this forum. |
