Default 2001 club car are batteries shot if the water has been below the cells for a while?

I put 2 gallons of distilled water into these year old batteries. cart will slightly jump forward after a full charge.

What a shame...... I'm afraid they are gone. Individual voltage reading or better yet Specific gravity readings would confirm that.......

I agree with everyone else, they're like gonzo.
Recharge them about 5 times and see if they will come back, I've seen stranger things.

How the do they even charge? They shouldn't have enough voltage to kick on the charger, should they?
Do they hold voltage and lose the amperage?

Anytime the plates are exposed to the air, i.e. water level below the top of the plates, that area of the plates loose their ability to take a charge so I think your in need of new batteries. my .02c's.
