Default offroad and onroad(some times)

I have a 2004 club car precedent electric, lifted with 23's and have figured out we use it more in the mud than on the asphalt. most of the other forums on here the people want to go fast but I just don't want to get stuck. QUESTION IS should I get a rewound motor or new motor (such as *********,d&d,emp)to get more torque.
