Default 10 inch wheels

Can I put 10 inch wheels and tires on my 1998 Club car with out a lift kit?
Will they fit without rubbing in turns? How wide of a tire can fit ?

I have a 99 model DS ( see avatar ) with 10 inch wheels and low profile tires. They do not rub and no lift what so ever. My father in law rides it every day. He is approx 325 pounds.

I have 10" rims on a stock cart. It only adds an inch over the 8" rims. I gained abou 3 mph by mounting the bigger tires. I calculated that I gained about 6" per tire revolution.

hey pj, when you said you gained an inch...do you mean the diameter of the new tires are only 1 inch bigger than the older tires?

Let's say it another way.

I have stock 8" rims and tires to fit on the front with the center at 7 1/2" from the ground. I have 10" rims and tires to fit on the back and the center is 8 1/2" from the ground for a total gain at 1".

Until I discovered the forum, I've never heard of tire size being expressed as a measurement from the ground to the top of the mounted tire although I'll grant it is an important dimension to consider for clearance.
