Default Another Not running right problem

Ok i have a 96 club car 48v. I have been reading all kinds of threads on here and i have tried just about everything. So my problem is my cart wont charge then i get it to charge so i take it for a ride i go about a mile or less and it just kicks down and goes super slow and starts to shudder around. I have reset my computer but still no luck. Any ideas or help would be great Thankx Mike

What is the battery pack voltage? What are the individual battery readings? If the batteries all post good #s you may want to check with a hydrometer or load tester to see if a weak cell is causing one batt to drop out under load.
If all battery TESTS are good then you can try to bypass the obc and manually charge the batteries..... If that works and the cart runs well then you have a bad OBC.

That pack is empty at 48v. Those batteries are empty at 8v. Your charger works on another cart? I would try another charger before I spent $$$ on an OBC

Here is a 'state of charge' chart. It is a great reference. Every cart tech should download, sav, and print this

Charge them up overnight, after they finish, let them sit at LEAST an hour and then check each battery again with the meter. (specific gravity test is better but a volt meter will do) You will probly find one or more thats considerably lower than the rest...those will be the bad ones.
