96 cc 48v rear end...
does any know how much oil the rearend of a 1996 CC electric holds? it says kawasaki on the axle but im not sure if the differential cases are different than others. I just need to know the amount of oil i should put in it.

My 1996 C C holds about 22 oz of 30 weight motor oil, not sure what axle it has by brand, but dont think its a Kawasaki?

You just fill till it runs out the fill hole... kinda like you filler till ya can't fill no more

ive heard that some people just use any 30 weight oil (like motor oil or anything). is that true? or could i use some bel-ray 30 weight gear oil too?

The CC manual 1996 calls it out like this for Electrics:
.67 liters (22 oz.) SAE 30 WT. API Class SE, SF, or SG Oil or higher ....And like this for the gassers: 80-90 WT. API Class GL-3 or 80-90 WT. AGMA Class EP Gear Lube |
