Default wiring mix up 83 1/2 Club Car

Does anyone have a clear wiring diagram for the forward-reverse switch for my 1983 1/2 (coils) CC. I get no movement in forward and too much in reverse. What did I do wrong?

Welcome red, No movement in forward could be a couple of things .... but too much reverse power is probably a miss connection of the bottom 2 lugs... In fact the bottom 2 could be both of your problems.... Sounds like a 5 minute fix! try this .......

Hey thanks, the wiring looks the same as your drawing, must be something else I'm not seeing. I'll keep looking. It's always something stupid!

if your running to fast in reverse you have some wires mixed up check real good, reverse should only be 1/2 speed.......not sure if F&R switch would cause both those problems but double and triple check wiring.........................

Check it out Shadow. The 2 bottom lugs are positive power in.... driver's side 18v for reverse. And Passenger side 36v for forward..... If the reverse was hooked to the 36v and the passenger side was hooked to nothing then it would run as he describes

HOw are you?

true. You can't be too careful picking a tenant. Unless your in Calif, then you will get sued for discrimination if you are selective
