Default 2000 club car in bad shape

hi guys ive got a 00 club car that has been under someones deck for 2 years. The batts. were at 13 volts when i got it so i 1 by 1 got the pack up to 40 volts. then plugged in the charger in and nothing happend. so I bypassed the obc to see if its bad and im not getting an amp reading on the charger but im getting 54 volts at batts while its plugged in. Does that mean i have a bad obc?
next q. after setting 2 years can the batts be saved or am i wasting my time. I have not been able to get the wheels to turn but this is my 1st cart so im very nub. Any help would be appriciated.

PS: if there is any1 in the athens georgia area i will pay u to come help me.

Ok it is a 2000 48 Volt or 36 Volt .
If 48 Volt the cart is dead at 48 Volts , it should be at 50-51 Volts.
But if 48 Volt the charger should come on and finishing charging as long as the pack Voltage is above 36+ Volts.
And yes a 2 year old battery which has not been in use can be recharged, the ? is how old the batteries were 2 years ago ? If you have them up to 40 Volts Id say Yes

PS: leave charger on until it stops or 16 hours. 54 Volts is OK during Charging.
Measure Pack Voltage 30 Min after charging completes

Ok it is 48 volt system. I'm not sure the battery age atm. The main thing is even above 36 volts my charger won't come on. When I bypass the obc I here 1 click from charger and I get around 54 v but the amp meter stays at 0. When I leave it plugged I'd the pack voltage dpors a little from start to when I disconnect charger.

Ok after 16 hrs on the charger my pack voltage has dropped from 40 to 38. The whole time it was on the charger I was reading 54v put the amp needle never moved off 0. Even when I bypass the obc I get the same results.

I'm new to the area so I don't know any 1 around athens ga that has a cart.

Should just get new batts or try to find some where to take it that can work on it 4 me

Sounds more like the pack is charging the charger , than the other way around !
Time to take a trip to the repair shop with the charger, for testing !
Most shops will test the charger for little of nothing , but you need to know this first
before moving on !

If it is the charger see how much the shop will charge to swap it out for a used one or repair !

ok ill try to find a shop in the area that works on cc. the ezgo place said i would have to bring them the cart and the charger to test the charger. If it is the charger i would hate to put money in it if i also have a bad obc. But the obc may been fine so i have to keep testing

The way I have done it is to bypass the relay in the charger. Another way is to run a wire from the last battery to the plug.

You are probably wasting your time and endangering the charger and obc by messing around with a bypass.... You have used a car charger to get the batts up to where they are now, correct. but they are dropping 2 volts in 16 hrs. I could almost garrantee they are never gonna come back after 2 years of setting.... Never seen it happen yet. If you doubt you need batteries go to auto parts house and get a simple hydrometer and test the specific gravity of each cell. Probably find 6 bad batteries? Simple easy test

Post your findings here .....
