I just bought a pair of copper #4-6 lugs with a 1/4" hole at autoZone. They are made for a company called Lynx by a company called East Penn Manufacturing Lyon Station, Pa.

If I turn the key on, and move the F/R to forward, and step on the throttle, the A2 cable gets hot pretty quick.

Now look at the Controller:

Everything here is wired according to the Alltrax diagram.
This HD F/R switch will work you just need to connect the M- to the top bus bar and leave the A2 connected to the bottom bus bar. The original F/R has two separate A2 connections, one for full power forward and the other is for half power reverse. Hope this helps.

Tony,

Thanks. I figured it out AFTER I put the original F/R switch back in

The problem that I had was the Alltrax diagram, which showed A2 and M- on the bottom bus bar. This really should be redrawn, because it is incorrect.

You hook M- to the top bus bar and A2 to the bottom bus bar. Sometimes my ignorance surprises even me

I will replace the original switch with the H/D unit when I take the body off in the fall for repainting. Until then, I'm just going to enjoy the ride!

Do ALL of these 4g lugs need to have 1/4" terminal holes?

The lugs are all 5/16 lugs. I need to change the pivoting lugs for S1 and S2 to smaller lug diameters down the road....but for now, they work just fine.

So,.........the answer is only the 2 pivoting lugs need to be 1/4" holes?

check out ebay i bought all my lugs there and it was cheaper than buying in the store, i bought i think 20 2 gauge 5/16 hole for around 23 bucks 1.18 a piece in local stores ranged from 1.39-2.20 a piece i can wait a couple days to get the right parts, i only found store that had the right size and only had 3 in stock,i think 4 gauge was a little cheaper

Hey, I've got a 2002 cc that's a 36V with the v glide and I want to upgrade everything. Can you give me an idea of what this project cost you and any tips as to how I should get started and things to watch out for?

Thanks!
