Short somewhere on early Club Car
Calling all guru's. I had the old cart running and was trying to test a bas solenoid. A wrench drop onto the psoi post and it sparked like hell. Now I get nothing when I press the pedal.
Do these carts have a fuse box of any type? Any ideas what I can check. The cart is an early model CC, with the 5 speed solenoid set up and coils. |

Nope, no fuses on that model. Probably why she sparked so much .

Any ideas on what to check? Possibly a broken wire? Could it maybe in the F/R switch?

Re: Short somewhere on early Club Car
Check the wires where you drop in a wrench & shorted it out. Where do they go ? Check them for continuity with your voltmeter? There is no mystery. You melted a wire or a micro switch? You just gotta find it . We don't have a silver bullet for every shorted circuit

What is a micro switch and where would it be located?

Re: Short somewhere on early Club Car
Go to the top of this section and locate a 5 solenoid wiring diagram ....... download and print it ..... you will notice on the diagram there are 5 micros for the 5 solenoids? Maybe more on the F&R I would have to look at the diagram or cart?
