OK so you now have my wiring diagram. So can you help me figure out why it quit running?

Sorry been busy !
So with switch on and peddle depressed you have no click on the first solinoid ?
If this is true check the solinoid for activation , open/close it should have 48 Volts on across the 2 small leads with switch turned on and cart in neutral, and should read 0
Volts with key switch off, If solinoid has the required 48 Volts with switch on and it does not click then replace it !

The solenoid does click when I press the pedal and it is energizing. But while the tire does move about an inch it stops and nothing happens. It will do this in forward and reverse. And as I said before, you can push the cart and the motor brake nevers tries to stop it.

I jumped the white wires on the solenoid and still nothing. I'm guessing the solenoid is not the issue. Now what?

OK the Solenoid can still click and have no continuity !
After it clicks check it with the meter set to Ohms it should drop to 0 if not it is bad.

After this it gets hairy and you really need the Maintenance/Service manual
I will post the troubleshooting procedure here to show you why .
All test procedures are spelled out in the manual but there are more than 40 procedures.
You can buy a new or used manual on line or from the site sponsors, normally running between $25-$75 .

Thanks, I'll check the solenoid. Does the fact that the motor brake doesn't work suggest anything? I am thinking that the solenoid being bad wouldn't make the motor brake not apply when I push it but I sure don't know that....LOL.

I was worried about blowing my meter up so I removed the white wires and the one end of the resistor wire on the solenoid and the solenoid has continuity when it energizes. I reinstalled the resistor wire and the white wires. There is another solenoid on the right side of the machine. It has the red battery supply wire and a yellow wire that goes to the box in the center of the machine. What is it for? If you jump from the red wire to the yellow wire it just archs like there is a dead short. Is that right? I don't see any other wire that can power the electrical system except for that red wire and it isn't going anywhere except to that one side of that solenoid. ??????
