Okay, me too!

Down here on the Ocean we feel that way about seeing a rusty EZGO too!
No, I don't mind oxidation and corrosion (much).

Glad you are enjoying yours. Are you interested in buying another?
This is not meant as an insult in any way...so please dont take it that way ScottyB...This type statement is EXACTly the stuff that was being said in the 80's during the transition of cars going from carbs to fuel injection and on board computers. People did not understand the systems, so they begrudged them. Over time as people learned how fuel injection/computers worked and learned how to use handheld scanners...and actually knew what all those readings meant...they became accepted and much easier to diagnose. Of course there will always be the quirky ******* car/cart...but overall it is a much better system. Would you be getting the run times and diagnostic ability that works 99% of the time using a handheld if the carts were still using VGlides and resistor coils...technology is good and change is sometimes a hard sell. I bet the cart mechanics were very skeptical of early controller type carts as well, wouldn't you think?!?! Just meant to be taken as a thought..not starting anything

Yeah that's all good but, I still hate IQ carts
Well the cart is fixed We replaced the 48v side of the wire harness and she is good today..... So don't know where the harness was bad? BUt replacinng it fixed it... what a bummer of a cart this was You may think it is an improvement but, if you had 2 brokedown carts for me to choose which one to fix it wouldn't be the CC IQ. That's for Daaaaarn Sure

Glad you finally beat this one.....................
Of course you wouldn't choose the IQ cart to fix, the others are way easier and dont require any advanced equipment or diagnostic skills. No one goes for the hard-to-fix vehicles intentionally, but they will come thru your bay doors occasionally...and over time...you will see more and more...so as in cars, don't fight the inevitable, since this is a money maker for you, tool up, educate and be prepared. Just think now much you learned on one troublesome cart, that "WILL" again come in handy someday

Cool Re: '03 IQ is a still a Nightmare

Glad you got it working correctly. Did seem a little frustrating! Sorry you were not able to pin-point root cause, but "what the heck", it's working.

Now, what do you think of the solid state-switching power supplies for charging? (at least they are light weight!)
