I held the pedal full, it starts out at 48v and and within seconds goes down to 35v for a minute then down to 25v and then back up to 30-35v. All without taking my foot off the pedal.

I think you said you tested or replaced the MCOR? Then it has to be the controller? NO? I sthe voltage going into the controller constant? Is the MCOR working porperly? If yes to both those Q's then it has to be a bad controller? But I dunno about these stupid IQ carts
See what someone else says!

Yes, new MCOR, which fixed the surging problem(it was very drastic) and yes the voltage coming off the solenoid is constant. I'll know tomorrow when I change the controller. I guess it's the chance you take when you get a bargain. $500 for the cart, $225 for the charger, $550 for the batteries, $110 for the MCOR + a controller tomorrow. But, it's already lifted. I'm not complaining after seeing what one sells for all set up!

Mee too
Don't forget to put in TOW and disconnect battery pack Before changing the controller. Then reconnect pack. The put in RUN. Then wait 30 seconds. The first time you push the peddle down nothing happens .... let it up and the second time it goes....Good luck

Thanks guys.

I had internet issues, but am back online.

The controller fixed it. The cart runs great!

I have a 2000 Club Car A0030 910056. I am having the same surge problem. Can I assume all of these steps would be the same for my cart? Is there anything different between 2000 and 2001?

How can I clean the F/R switch? I usually use brake cleaner on things but didn't know if it would hurt anything or not.
