Default 1990 club car won't go

batteries 1 year old, full charged, push gas petal very very very slow no power won't go . the gas petal in the floor seems loose in the floor board checked water in batteries, good, check all cable look good help please all connections look okay with key turn on, put gear in forward clicks, will go very slow forwar, put in reverse will not move at all

What hapens if you push the peddle fast?

Jack up the cart or put it on blocks for safety......
remove the seat and see if the click comes fromt the little micro switch at the F&R or the Big solenoid below it.

the main solenoid (v-grid) is clicking the is connected to the throttle the gives the motor it's power

Do you have a voltmeter? THe power comes in on the battery side and when it click should go out on the motor side ......
