Default Soften The ride

1993 Club car .... new shocks, single front leaf spring, but how do I soften the ride .... I have new 18.5x8.5-8 Street DOT tires from"Buggies" I run 15 pounds of air ...
Can I run lower poundage air on ther front tires..if so what is the lowest I can go and still be safe at 10MPH..??

You will have to contact the seller or maniufacture to find out what the safe limits of low air pressure are for the tires you bought on BU ??? But, I would try 10psi and see how they feel. I'm guessing they are a firmer tire being DOT approved so you are going to get a firmer ride. Welcome to the BETTER golf cart site

Drop the pressure down to 7psi.

If the lower air preasure tires dont work then you dont have very many options. The front suspenison on a Club Car is pretty primitive. Outside of a softer front leaf spring you would have to go to a whole new front suspension. Personelly I dont know of a soft front spring. Good luck with your cart.

At the lower preasure you will increase the rolling resistence and reduce run time and increase tire wear. Also handling will suffer at higher speeds. Is this a four person cart??? I don't think I would go to 10 lbs.
