Default 96 CC dead after changing batts.

Have a bad problem, or maybe just a small one that is not jumping out. My buddy and I are working on his cart. The cart is a 96 cc. Before we installed the batteries it ran very week and we litterally had to push it a little to get it to go. We changed the batteries with new 8 vlt excides. It appears as though the previous owner disconnected several wires coming from the F&R swicth, but it ran before. Now we have nothing. Reading 52 vots on all batts. We thought it might be the solenoid because we couldn't hear anything goingt on. I bolted the cables together to bypass the Sol, but still nothing. The power switch seems to have conductivit, but nothing else has power. What should I check first. I am totally stumped

Grab a wiring diagram from the top of this section..... you need power to the MCOR, the solenoid, and the controller to run...

That's the first thing I did. Besides the wired that were disconnected before we changed the batts and the cart worked, everything looks correct. still nothing.

We can only help on stock wiring from here. There are other hacked-up ways to make a cart run but we have no way of knowing what has been disconnected or bypassed from here? That is why your best bet is to find the proper wiring diagram and return the cart to stock.

Is replacing all of the wiring something that an amateur should do? Also, is there any way to test the components, ie. controller, OBC.
