Default This 2ga fits through OBC

I know this has been discussed to death but wanted to put one simple post out there that would be searchable and help others. Yes, I agree 2 ga welding cable is overkill but I got a good price and found 5/16 lugs and other supplies from genuinedealz.com.

Anchor Brand Heavy Duty 2ga Welding cable will fit through the obc with a little bit of lube, I used some silcone tire spray and the cable slid right through.

That's great news for the over killers. How many strands is the cable and does it have an oil and acid resistant cover?

over 600 strands and yes jacket is chemical resistant. (and for what it's worth I went from 4 ga Battery Cable (non-welding)...... to 2 ga welding cable and got seat of the pants more torque)

Do you mean 4g automotive? Like 12v battery cables?

That explains the big difference... even 4 gauge welding cable would have given a noticeable difference over automotive cables. Good to hear it!
