Default Re: Lack of power on Beach in sand?

You will be surprised at the power difference if you added a 480 to 500 amp controller and 4 ga wires. I have a 480 amp controller in my cart and it will pull through sand and spin the tires in the same places that it would bog down and stop like you explained when I ran the stock controller. Sounds like you have the cart all fixed up the way you like it, but just need a little performance boost and a controller and wires will fix you right up. Also, if you do add a higher amp controller you will need to install a higher amp solenoid to go with it.
