Re: where to buy batteries?
Look in the yellow pages for Trojan dealers. Get bids from all of them and install yourself. Don't forget to ask how much salvage value they will allow for the old ones. I suggest you put on new cables (#4 Welding cable) at the same time. The Trojans will cost more than most but will also last longer.

Re: where to buy batteries?
Ehh dcannow, mine are 3.5 year olds, and I cant even get 18 holes out of them. So no, Trojans arent that great, U.S battery is likely a bit better, dont get me wrong, Trojan is probably good, but mine haven't been.

Re: where to buy batteries?
Hi Brandon, Welcome to BGW.
Well maintained golf cart batteries last 5 -8 years. This is with proper break in and maintenance from day 1. (yes, break in) Buy the battery with longest warrenty, maintain them as per manufacture's recommendation and you will get good battery life. You can choose any brand, be sure it is a GOLF CART battery. Trojan is superior or equal to any on the market. Check the trojan website, or whatever, to find a local supplier. Shipping is not reasonable.....$$$$ |

Re: where to buy batteries?
If we took a vote I venture to say it would be Trojans 10 to 1. ALL batteries must be maintained. Take some readings on your 3.5 yr. old ones also check your cables for corrosion & bad connections. If they have been maintained there has to be another problem. Also check the specs on your US vs Trojans. If you are already sold on US go for it & good luck. You might check the area golf courses and see which brand they use in their fleets.
