Serial Number AA0236-XXXXX , F-N-R lever, no tow-run switch
I know it is a 2002 Club Car made in the 36th week but is it a DS? |

Yes, it's a DS. They didn't have any other regular carts during that time.

The "DS" is only the body style. DS, Precident, Turf II & etc., are all different body styles.
Then there are; resistor cars, regen cars (regenerative breaking), and IQ cars, (which have the larger computers to program many options to the overall operation of the driving and handling). Nowdays the Precident cars actually have the IQ system, but not called an IQ because its standard with each precident. |

How can I tell if it is a Regen Cart or an IQ Cart ?

If it has a FR lever then it is neither a regen or an I.Q. car but a series version...
