Ask Oreilly's for the specs. Also ask who makes the battery if it is a housebrand name. Don't forget--The battery pac in your 2002 CC is the most important component. Good luck if you replace those 875s.

Are these a cranking battery or a deep cycle battery. If they are a cranking battery. Then they would be a good kick in the pants at take off, BUT. They will not last long at all. It would a big waste or money. The cranking battery is not designed for the regress charge & discharge that it would take to keep your cart going.

I would go back with the T 875

the oreilly's golf cart battery has the same or better rating than the trofan t-875. the battery is made by east penn/deka which i found on this forum is a good manufacturer.
also i got a good price because my son manages an oreilly's.
also it gives a better free replacement period of time than NAPA does.
just hope i will be happy.

As long as they are for golf carts you will be fine. At first it sounded like you where getting cranking batteries. Good luck & enjoy that cart.

Let me know how these work...Deka also makes private label batteries for one of our lines and i can get them at cost. It would be nice to save some money and still get good batteries!

Fishneb-Please post the specs on the Deka 8v vs the Trojan 875s as I haven't been able to find them. I have a set of Deka Dominator 12v sealed gels that came in a Gem car I traded for. They appear to work fine but the Gel cels take a different charging cycle than flooded batteries.

anyone wishing to compare the batteries can go to electric club car forum and look under battery comparsion forum and compare the deka battery and trojan T-875.
this is what i used to compare the batteries.
i just got the batteries in and am still charging them.
hope to be on the course tomorrow to see how they work.
my son is (hopefully) going to send the specs on oreilly's 8volt then i will post the specs.
