Read This
State of Charge Readings

Your cart is 100% Dead ,
Around 6.0 means ?, if all were at 6.0 they would be 30% as far as the cart goes and when you Factor in 3.75 , ITS DEAD.

Check with a battery Hydrometer to see if the Battery (Batteries) are worth saving.
Use a digital Volt Meter "tenths" of a Volt matters when dealing with Sparkies.
Charge pack until charger is complete, wait 30 Minutes then check each Battery and total Pack.

thanks,,,,i read that article about batteries,,,,guess you are right 6v only means
50 percent charge.....6.4v is fully charged....i may need 6 new ones, but don't know if that is the only problem....seems that even with weak batteries, it should try to move a little....5 solenoids and 5 speed limit switches....a lot of confusion for me....
a appreciate your help.....do you know if i connect car jumpers from charger to motor will it turn the motor?

My Guess is no ! the motor is 36 Volts the Car is 12 !

The batteries are = to the GAS in your car if they are 0% you may get a buzzer in reverse
or a shutter but you will eventually damage the motor !

Fix , known problems (Battery Voltage) THEN WE CAN TROUBLE SHOOT FROM THERE !

If you have a 12 Volt Car charger you can truy charging 2 6Volt at a time and see what rhe readings end up ?

i meant to connect jumper cables from the two prongs on the 36v charger and then connect to motor....don't want to damage motor, but it should be 36v from charger to motor...if i have wheels off ground, and set in F....maybe the wheels will turn or at least the motor will turn...

Glad the guys here had help you figure out to move your cart...

Scotty might like those batteries!

Seriously sunvia, they are ready for recycling, grab yellow pages and find a near by place that buy used batteries, you can get some extra $ for them and help cover solenoid expenses...

with one new solenoid and 6 new trojan 605 batteries, the cart runs fine...
need to get it painted and upholstered.....put new ignition switch, and connected the lights....all works fine now....doesn't go real fast....don't know if heavier battery cables would help...or maybe soldering the crimped ends.... have used fiberglas and bondo on some bad spots.....
thanks to you who have offered advice..................will post picture when finished
