Headlight Bulb Replacement
I have a '99 Club Car DS with the headlight kit installed. What's the typical light bulb that's usually installed on the headlights? I my cart is currently at the campground, so I can't just go out and check. I want brighter headlights and figured I could put brighter bulbs in there, but I don't recall what "type" of lamp/bulb it would be.

Re: Headlight Bulb Replacement
I have seen 2 different types and since a lot of the headlights were aftermarket kits there is only a guess as what you have? You probably have to check first....

Re: Headlight Bulb Replacement
I was able to get some more info by pulling the existing bulb. It's a Sylvania 886, L-shapped bulb/assembly. Someone told me it's know as a "T-3 1/4 Bulb". The engraving on it said 12v-50watts. That being said, can anyone recommend a direct replacement that's is noticably brighter? I don't want to have to modify anything or replace the light housing.

Re: Headlight Bulb Replacement
a xenon 894 bulb should be a direct replacement for your stock 886 bulb. Go to any autoparts place like advanced or pepboys---possibly even a WalMart, and get the Xenon Blue 894 bulb--super bright
