Default Tail Light Bulb Replacement

I just bought a 2006 Precedent Electric and am new to this forum. Can anyone tell me what to remove to gain access to the tail light?

Thye Precedents use a LED style tail lamp assembly. I really do not believe it is serviceable under normal conditions. Someone here probably knows how to fix a LED board, but most of us would have to buy a new tail light assembly. The assembly is only doublesided taped or glued to your body...no screws or hardware just make sure to check your wiring and connector first, LED's dont fail as often as regular filament style bulbs.

Thanks much oxfordlawn. I assume then that they must drill a hole in the body to run the wires? It helps a lot, however, just to know that it is double sided tape holding the light assembly to the body with no hardware.

yeah theres about a 1" hole behing the light that when you pull the light off, keep pulling and the wire connector will pull thru the hole so you can disconnect the lamp assembly from the harness.

I appreciate your help oxfordlawn. This tells me what I need to know. And to think your response came from across the Atlantic Ocean! This is a good forum indeed.

I won't dispute the "good forum" or the good advice, but I might have a problem with the whole "across the Atlantic" angle. Jus' sayin', LOL.

lewisj, unplug that tail light and check that circuit with a multimeter first. Let's prove that the circuit is working.
