Horn and Brake light
I know this is simple, but I am clueless.
I have an 04 48V CC. I put on a horn recently. (have both poz and neg connected to the same battery though diagram showed differently. Kept blowing fuse following those directions.) Now it seems to work standing still, and the faster the cart goes, the less volume on the horn until there is no horn. ? Also noticed brake lights now not working - but that may be a coincidence. Any suggestions? |

Re: Horn and Brake light
Your problem could be that you are only hooked up to 8volts. Plus when under way cart pulls amps and robs the horn circuit. I assume your 04 has 6 X 8v. How are the lights hooked up? Are they wired through a voltage converter(48v to 12v)? If they are try the horn on same leads. I can't figure a connection with the brake lights.

Re: Horn and Brake light
Thanks, that is kind of what I was guessing. I will try the horn on the same leads this weekend. the lights are connected through a converter. Appreciate the reply.
