Default I'm a new member?? mixing 6V.&12V.

I just bought a 2001 model, It is a 36 V., Has trojans batteries, 2 of them are weak, It set during freezing weather discharged, Can I replace 2 of the bad 6v. with one 12v., I do know that they would have to hooked in series, Thanks, I love this site, Steve

Not a good idea to mix batteries like that. 2 6 volt batteries would be better than a 12 volt. The 12 volt will die quicker than the rest of the batteries and could possibly hurt your remaining good ones.

Also, most of the time I get this question people are referring to a 12v marine battery which is nowhere near strong enough for Golf Car use.
