Has anyone heard of a Power Pulse battery maintainer
I found this website that makes a battery maintainer that is suppose to eliminate sulfation and make your batteries last longer and even help restore older batteries. They have one that hooks dirrectly to the pack (PowerPulse 36 or 48 volt) and another that plugs into 110 volts (RediPulse 36 and 48 volt).
Has anyone had any experience with these? Do they work? http://www.pulsetech.net/ http://pulsetech.net/productinfo/productinfo.html Click the product application chart on the 2nd link and then you can see all the applications. If you click the red highlighted product name it will show you a picture. |

Any opinions on this? scottyb? oxfordlawn? any other experts? I wonder if it really does what it says, if so it would probably be worth the money considering the cost of deep cycle batteries.

Re: Has anyone heard of a Power Pulse battery maintainer
I looked at something similiar a while back..and if I remember correctly...there was not one that could be strung across a full 48V pack. this meant moving the unit from battery to battery and that seemed like a big pain in the arse to me. I just kkep my batteries full with distilled water and dont run them down below the 50% discharge level. We use our cart a lot so Its always plugged into the charger every night. I just decided I couldnt be bothered with those things..maybe someone has made one by now that can go across the whole battery pack of 48V?? then it may be worth it...that was my feelings

These so called battery restorers should be under the heading " If it seems to good to be true.....It probably is."
I have seen a few of these things from different vendors.....none really worked. In the end, the customer still had to buy batteries. Maybe someone else has had better luck? |

Re: Has anyone heard of a Power Pulse battery maintainer
You seem to be really searching for something that will keep you from having to buy batteries Not going to find it Batteries have a life span - how they are maintained from the beginning determines their lifespan. There's no magic fix, potion or machine to revive old, dead and abused batteries...
