again!

The motor bearings are the most affected always due to the brushes dust, so opening the motor and check brushes along with bearing it would first for me... but if take out the motor and keeps making noise, then...

Yeah, we can hear it with the rearend on the bench .... This is the second one of these we ran across in 2 months? Both were '85 -'86 carts?

ya its not the elec motor, checked that, why the rear end was on the bench I can spin the input with my hand and hear the noise with that slow of turning, I have 3 sets of spider gears here out of all the same rear ends and they all have this growl to them.

Stock gears? I got an 8:1 that's noisy as heck...

Spiders shouldn't make noise, or move unless one axle is turning faster than the other. Turn both axles at the same time...
