vehicle will not charge
patient is a 2004 Precedent IQ, w/stock obc, motor & controller. condition = neighbors english bull chewed through the charger cable while charging the car. charger cable replaced & passes elect. metering. car runs fine but will not charge. tried different charger that i know operates correctly & still w/not charge.
question: did obc detect charge problem event & turn off charging functions? If so, how do I soft reboot the obc? If this is not heading in the correct direction, can you get me in the write direction? Also could use wiring diagram? Thank you in advance for your advice & suggestions! |

Try this---also if the batteries are very low, below 36V I believe, the OBC will not turn on the charger....you would have to bypass OBC and get some voltage into the batteries. But, try resetting the OBC first, you may get lucky |

Re: vehicle will not charge
Thank you, I'll check my neighbors battery voltage and perform the soft re-boot of the obc.
