Default Controller input

My question is what is the throttle input for a 2001 Club Car DS 48 volts? I have to replace a bad controller and I noticed the controller input listed for club cars is either 0-5k ohms or 5k-0 ohm. I am under the impression that my club car takes a 5k-0 ohms input on the controller. Thanks for any help.

hook up an Ohm meter to the wires coming from your throttle and you can find out. If it is at 0k at rest and goes to 5k when the trottle is pressed and vice versa you will know your answer. But if it is all still factory i am 90% sure you have a 0-5k setup

Ezgo and Yamaha ran 0-5k . CC was the odball running 5K-0 ohms.... These are the readings you will get from the potentiometer..... The later model MCOR is a different animal .... It sends its throttle position signal in volts. You will need to know which throttle indicator you have when you order....
