I recently purchased 4 new batteries for 2001 48V Club Car. Since two of the batteries were still good, I chose to keep them is service. Good or Bad?

What will happen is the new batteries will have excessive boiling as the charger tries to get the weaker batteries up to the same level. So what tends to happen over time is the new batteries will go bad faster as a result .
The charger may also terminate charge early with respect to the weaker batteries since the newer ones being overcharged will compensate.
It will shorten the life of all !
