Default 36v cc installed a alltrax 4845 - results

I installed an alltrax 4845 in my 91 club car today along with a new solenoid. I noticed a big difference in torque and acceleration. I'm far from satisfied but I plan to upgrade to a 48v system soon.

It slows down for sure but I'd say it's at least 3 times better. It's no dragster but it's much more acceptable. I have a super strap driveway like 35 degrees or something and it goes up that like a champ now.

From my understanding the F/R switch in the 91 CC is sufficient to handle the higher amperage. It was the newer CC F/r switches that were junk nd needed to be replaced. you should be good to go with your F/R switch, just pick up a solenoid.
