Default voltage reducer clicking dim lights

I just hooked up a 48 voltage reducer and all it does is click repeatedly and lights are flashing in harmony with the clicking and very dim. Does anyone have advice or info on this? Thanks

don't know but I can't take it apart. It's a 10 amp and all I hooked up was a light kit. It should handle that I would think

Jut found the problem. I got a dc clamp meter and my light kit pulls around 15 amps for some reason. Unhooked taillights for now until I get a bigger reducer. I would have thought a 10 amp would have been fine, guess not. Thanks for the help.

I was going to post up yesterday but forgot.
2 headlights at 55w and 2 tail lights at 20w = 150w / 12v = 12.5 amps.
10 amp reducer/converter is too small.
Good find!
