Default 85 club car performance

Soon to be doing a buggies unlimited 6" lift. and 22x11x8 tires. I want to make sure that after all of the work. It is not going to be slow as a dead dog. with my cart being a resistor what would be reccomended. I am not looking to make a race cart. kids will also be driving it. Remember I am doing this on the cheap. When done I want to be under a $1000. Thanks guys.

I would rethink the BU chinese lift kit thing. You would be suprised how reasonably priced a Jakes Quality Spindle lift kit is

For the cost difference I think that I am going to stick with the BU lift kit. How much of a difference can there be?

What will the cart be used for? The difference could be in the quality or tinsel strength of the material and welds? If it is a block lift it will not increase ground clearance like a spindle lift.

It is not going to be used for any hard work. mostly for just the kids to ride around on and at an occasional mud event. attached is the link of the kit that I want to use.

Have there been known problems with the BU lift kits?

Please tell me if there are problems with this kit. I did not want it to sound like you did not know what you are doing. I posted this to get your opinion. I do need your knowledge. If there are problems with this kit then I will spend the extra 150 to get the other kit. I do not have a lot of money to spend on this project. I ment no harm and I am sorry if I offended you. But please tell me if there have been problems with the bu kit.

Several of the long time forum members have had some bad experiences with BU. I think that this may be the root cause of your experience on this forum.

I also looked at the BU kit. IMHO, I don't know how they could offer an A-arm kit with rear springs for that price, unless the material or quality is inferior to an Allsports A-arm kit or a Jake's spindle kit. Remember also that there may be drilling and other modifications involved with the BU kit.

Personally, I'm going to spend my money on one of the Allsports kits.

PS > and, my purchase will be with one of this site's sponsors.
