Default SOC wiring

Who can help? I am installing a SOC meter and I've wired it exactly how the diagram shows, but it still won't work. My cart is an '83 so it certainly isn't new, but I just put new batteries and solenoids in it. What the heck am I missing on the SOC wiring? Gotta have the cart ready by Friday for the races.

Sorry Folks. SOC is State of Charge. The one I have is an LED meter, not a digital one.

The SOC meter needs to start with a fully charged pack.
Disconnect the meter, recharge your batteries and re-connect the meter.
If it does not work, double check your connections and verify with a digital meter.

Perhaps he needs to know where to hook it up properly?

Thanks for the suggestion. The pack really wasn't too low to begin with, but I did do a full charge anyway.

As I mentioned, I did hook it up exactly as the diagram suggested, but it still didn't work. After messin' with it a little more I managed to "rig" it so it will work. Not exactly how I want it to be, but something's better than nothing.
