Default Stumped, give me some help.

Troubleshooting a 2000 CC, it has the toggle switch and the two solenoid setup. The cart will not run. The tow/run toggle switch trips activates/deactivates the first solenoid, enabling disabling power to the controller. The other solenoid is is actually in the A2 circuit, out of the controller. I've been tracing the voltage through the system. Have confirmed the tow/run solenoid is good. Get power through it when in run, none, when off. So moved on to the controller. I have 48v going into the controller, and I have my negative on the of the VOM on the negative from the pack. A1 and A2 both have 50 volts output on them right now with out the peddle depress so does the F1, and F2. THis does not sound right to me....

The solenoid between the A2 of the controller and A2 of the motor never clicks but shows battery voltage on both sides. The motor has 50 volts on all leads.yet nothing happens, when I put my meter on the A1 or A2 and press the pedal nothing changes it all stays at 50v. I would think the the motor with 50v on the leads would be turning. To me I wouldn't think all the outputs of the controller should be reading 50v but maybe I am testing wrong.

help.....

Sounds to me that you need a service manual to properly troubleshoot that cart....

I've got them for practically every year but this one.... so am piecing it together, no continuity issues on the motor, have voltage to main leads going to the controller, with negative vom on A2 and positive VOM on A1 there is no output. when pedal is depressed. Have reset rebooted the OBC got the normal sequence on the dash with the battery light, moving to pot to see if I am getting anything out of it.

Not sure what the trigger is for the solenoid in the A2 line. It has one of the big coil resistors on it, but with nothing coming from the controller I don't think that is where the problem is.

Ok, I give. I guess a manual for this specific cart is needed. But I suspect it's the actual controller as it was running and died when it was running with a burning electronic smell.

What is almost as good as having a service manual for the cart you are working on? Another cart exactly like it. Happen to have another cart just like it here that runs, and have confirmed the controller is toasted.
