Don't use one. Go with a Curtis PB-6 potentiometer box instead. Far more reliable and repairable. The Mcor is just a set of contacts inside a sealed box and according to many sources they are a junk. If they need replacing they are expensive.

This is my opinion and I think others will chime in on this. I was going to use one until several sources I talked to told me the bad points and talked me into doing the PB-6. I am now glad I did.

The curtis PB-6 is an excellent throttle position indicator. But at 150 -175 dollars it is not cheap and you must fabricate your own linkage and mounting hardware ....

I just purchased a PB-6 (not a knock off, the real thing) brand new for $90.00 with shipping.

I will post pics of my setup in a day or two. It is not currently together. I dis-assembled it to coat my frame with bedliner. I will put it back together and photograph it for you. It is simmilar to scottyb's setup, just a couple modifications.

I dont agree with this. I have had a MCOR conversion in mine since late 2007 with zero problems It has been in severe conditions and has yet to fail. I regulerly ride in mud and water. Maybe I am a minority. If you go with the curtis you will be forced to fab or rigg something up to make it work. MCOR is a direct bolt on replacement.

I agree..... there is nothing wrong with the original MCOR. In fact it is a sealed unit nearly impervious to moisture and the PB-6 is not! DO not go mudding with a PB-6...... hope this helps
