Problem on 95 cc, need help please.
I put my controller on last week and changed my cables to 4 ga. Ever since then after I charge it it gives me grief. After I unplug it, it doesnt want to move. It just bucks a little and then doesnt do anything. I have no loose connection, i have checked each one three times after my last episode. After it sits for awhile unplugged from the charger it will run normal. WIERD!
Thanks guys |

Was the old controller bad or did you upgrade? If you upgraded the controller, I would put the old one back on and see if the problem goes away. Also, does the bucking happen any other time than after charging the batteries?

After charging, check the pack voltage.
It could be an overvoltage issue, if you have the wrong controller. |

I got the controller from a reputable place and its correct for the cart and correctly programmed. It only happens right after charging. I am going to check the pack voltage later today and see if buscopat is right. Never thought that it could over charge.

Controller could be on the marginal side for overvoltage detection. Try another controller, check pack Voltage 30 minutes after charging. A pack for 48 Volt cart can run up to almost 60 Volts during charge, after charge completed it settles to surround 53. |

What kind of controller is it? I agree with buscopat it sounds like it's an over voltage problem.

It depends on the model. The axe series can be programmed. The npx cannot. Check the alltrax website. If it is programmable you can get the cord to hook it to a laptop from radio shack for around $35. the software on the alltrax site is very user friendly, and the site has alot of useful info.
