What wire diagram did you use to wire the 48v charging plug with? That is the only area that I'm still struggling with. UHGGG, I just realized that I have not purchased the 48v plug and charger..

Did you run your cart on 36v with all the 48v solenoid and F/R switch? I'm assuming I can install all the new components and just program the controller for 36v until I switch to 48v.. ??
I am running a Delta-Q onboard charger so I do not have a charging plug, but whatever plug you are using should be basically two wires positive and negative. Just wire the positive to the positive terminal on your last battery and the negative to the negative of your first battery and you should be all set. You can use your old 36 volt plug, just wire it to your new 48 charger when you get it. The plugs are not rated for a specific voltage they just have to match up. What charger are you going to use? I can recommend a charger that does 36 and 48 volts, you just flip a switch and it has a plug to match the crowsfoot already in your cart.

I did run my cart on 36 volts with the new components for a short time, I didn't have the D&D motor installed yet since it is a 48 volt motor. The AllTrax controller will work just fine on 36 volts, you don't have to change anything. You had mentioned programming it for 36 volts but it doesn't require that. You should be fine running 36 volts until you move to 48.

I have not found the charger yet that I want to use. I really like the Delta-Q onboard option that you used. I would prefer not to have to carry anything around or worry about someone stealing the darn thing.

OK, taking a break for the week and then back at it next weekend to clean up the frame and replace some of the bad aluminum. Frame really doesn't look to bad for being 19 years old. I will be adding some frame pieces to easily mounts all the new stuff

Can I quote you on that
It's true.... no doubt your conversion is going to come out great. Don't be disappointed in the 36v test drive.....power-wise. Just make sure the throttle is smooth and everything is working properly. 48v will be a big kick in the pants
