Default No Zip in my 81 CC

My cart just doesn't seem to have much speed. It's an 81 cc 36V. I'm not lookin for drag racin, just a comfortably good clip. is there a governor type thing or a resistor i can check? any help appeciated.

'81! It is not gonna be very fast.... the motor is 28 yrs old ... Can you tell us in mph how fast it goes now? I would expect it to go about 8 - 10 mph
