What is the difference b/t say a 700amp 5-0k versus a 0-5k. I have a 95 CC DS 48 volt. What am I looking for? Thanks in advance.

0-5k is older EZGO style controllers and a slew of others. 5k ohm being wide open for ezgo. ALot but not all Club Cars use 5k-0 ohm. 0 ohm being wide open for Club Cars.

Unless you have something funky you should have a 5k-0..... Most likely using a v-glide to control it....
