Default 98cc wont go

Hi everyone--i'm starting to lose my mind with this cart. Bought it a month ago-and hasn't moved. I replaced the the controller and the obc. All voltages seem to be good. Checked microswitches and they seem to be fine. There is really no reason this shouldn't be moving. I turn on the key and press the peddle down and you hear almost like "an old tube tv sound"for a moment. But it wont go and you dont hear the solenoid click(I even swapped the solenoids to see if the main was bad) and I got the schematic for the plug on the controller and checked my voltages for the switches that way too. Help? Thanks Jim

Sounds like your solenoid activation circuit is bad.... the small posts on the solenoid require a neg and a positive to close which which completes the ciruit.... see which one is already present and bring the missing current with a jumper wire to test if solenoid is good .... Do this with the cart on jacks in case it starts unexpectedly...

She's a goin!!! I guess both solenoids were bad. Bought 2 new solenoids for 110 bucks and back on the road. Not bad being I got the cart for 600 and now everythings pretty much new. Thanks again Scottyb

Just another reason that Scottyb gets the big $$$. We gotta sell shares in him prior to his writing that book!!
