Trick Paint ?
Cold any rainy afternoon in Dover DE.and here I am wet sanding the cc body.Just wondered what advice I could get to insure my paint sticks to my plastic.Have wet sanded feathered what I assume is a gel coat to 180 grit,followed buy scuffing compound and scotch brite.Plan is 2 coats 2k primer400 sand and shoot Dupont,sealer,chroma base,and what ever I have for clear.Am I missing anything,too far,not enough???Dave

YOU NEVER GO TOO FAR ON THE PREP. Find the paint shop that sells to the body shops. Follow every tip they give you on prime, base & clear. They are the ones who give advice to the body shops on new paints etc. They don't charge for any help over the cost of paint. Post pics when finished!!

see if you can get body shop to paint it with the paint they use on flexible bumper,s any other paint chip,s if ya even look at it the wrong way and let the primer set for a few days befor painting
